Kettlebells Adding Combination Kettlebell Exercises To Your Workouts

I have something new this morning in the form of doing your kettlebell training as combination exercises.

What are combination kettlebell exercises?

Simple it is just the concept of taking 2 or 3 kettlebell exercises and doing it as one. I am going to give you one that I have been using lately and really like doing it’s killer but with great results. If you want to really rev up your fat burning, strength training and conditioning try this.

One of the other benefits I have found with doing these kettlebell combo’s is that they are fun to do. I don’t know about you but I do find kettlebells fun to use. I’m an old weight training guy that started using the kettlebell about a year ago and can’t get enough. And these combo’s  makes me feel good and makes exercise and fitness not so boring and mundane.

Side Note: I have a video up on our Kettlebell Training Video page from Zach Evan Esh the Underground Strength Coach showing some other kettlebell combos. It’s a little long at just over 22 minutes but there is alot of great information and other combo exercises.

What you will be doing (again start with just 1 kettlebell ) is the Snatch, Press and Front Squat in that order.

1) Do a Snatch bring the kettlebell down to your shoulder then

2) Do a Press bring the bell back down to your shoulder

3) Do a Front Squat

I do 6 reps per side. What you can do is break that up if you want 2 left 2 right till you get to 6 per side. Work up to doing 4-6 sets with these. Go thru one progression rest 30 – 60 seconds and start again. Always strive to cut down on the amount of rest time.

 If you are new to kettlebells or your conditioning isn’t quite where it should be start slow.

I would use a lighter weight to start with till you get  used to doing these. It goes to show you the power of using kettlebells total body workouts using 1 kettlebell what more could you ask for?
